Shut down the computer

Shut down

• Shuts down all running applications, then it shuts the computer down.

Restart

• Shuts down all running applications, then it restarts the computer.

Suspend

• Attempts the computer to enter the sleep state. This action depends on the computer hardware, if the hardware doesn't support this mode, the action will be ignored.

Hibernate

• Attempts the computer to hibernate. This action depends on the computer hardware, if the hardware doesn't support this mode, the action will be ignored.
  
  NOTE: This action is valid only under Windows2000,XP, 2003 or Vista.

Forces computer to shut down

• If this option is unchecked, shutting down or restarting computer will take place after all running applications are closed, if one of these applications failed to close, shutting down or restarting aborts.

• If this option is checked, shutting down or restarting computer will take place immediately regardless of whether all running applications are closed, it may cause some applications to lose data.
